Family Friendly Policy Overview

At Elevate, supporting employees and their families isn’t just a priority—it’s a reflection of the company’s culture and values.

Guided by its core principles—Think Big, Do the Right Thing, Raise the Bar, and Win Together—Elevate’s family-friendly policies are making a meaningful difference for employees, while boosting retention, and fostering a culture of care.

One standout initiative is the Flexible Paid Caregiver Leave, introduced in 2018. This program provides primary caregivers with 10 additional paid days off in the year following their standard 12-week parental leave. These extra days, which can be used flexibly, help employees navigate pediatric appointments, caregiving duties, or the transition back to work. This policy directly enhances retention by easing pressures on new parents and allowing them to focus on their families. It also exemplifies Elevate’s commitment to creative problem-solving and forward-thinking.

Elevate’s broader approach to work-life balance and employee well-being further underscores its dedication to retaining top talent and creating a thriving workplace. This includes generous PTO, paid parental leave for both primary and non-primary caregivers, and hybrid work options.

Additional benefits, such as fertility and adoption support through Carrot, paid sabbaticals after 10 years of service, and a $5,000 longevity bonus every five years, demonstrate the company’s long-term investment in its employees. Family appreciation events, like Texas Rangers outings, barbecue picnics, and holiday celebrations, further embody Elevate’s “Win Together” value, promoting collaboration and a strong sense of community.

By holding itself to the highest standards of integrity and continuously raising the bar, Elevate has built a culture where employees are supported and empowered to thrive alongside their families.

The Impact

Since introducing Flexible Paid Caregiver Leave in 2018, 125 employees have utilized this benefit, with 44% still part of the company today In addition to other family-friendly benefits, this has driven higher engagement scores in satisfaction surveys, especially among new parents and caregivers. Exit interviews consistently highlight how this added layer of support boosts morale and strengthens Elevate’s ability to attract and retain top talent, particularly working parents.

Elevate’s family-friendly initiatives go beyond supporting employees during pivotal life events— they embody their commitment to building a compassionate, inclusive, and people-focused workplace. By prioritizing their team’s well-being, they empower them to excel both personally and professionally, leading to a loyal, motivated, and productive work culture.

Employee Feedback

"I’ve been able to use the primary caregiver time for two adoptions and it’s been helpful with the transition into parenthood, to enjoy the newborn period and adjust as a growing family. With an adoption, it allowed for greater bonding time and more flexibility, which is very important. I am grateful that Elevate extends this opportunity that exceeds other companies."
