Fort Worth, Texas, September 29, 2022 – Today, Mayor Mattie Parker announces Fort Worth’s 2022 Best Place for Working Parents® Innovator Award winners at the Fort Worth Chamber’s sold-out production of the annual State of the City event. These awards recognize businesses that have implemented innovative strategies to support working parent employees through unique policies and practices in three family-friendly award categories: Family Resources, Events, and Policies. This year, an inaugural Micro Business Innovator award was announced as well.

The Best Place for Working Parents® 2022 Innovators were nominated through the first-of-its-kind online assessment platform that allows qualifying businesses to gain a competitive designation and gauge in real-time how family-friendly their workplace is compared to businesses of similar size and industry. The business self-assessment focuses on the top 10 research-backed family-friendly policies proven to impact working parents and businesses’ bottom line.

Eligible organizations may earn a Best Place for Working Parents® business designation throughout the year by taking the online assessment.
